El aumento m\u00e1s significativo se produjo en la Regi\u00f3n de \u00c1frica de la OMS, gracias a las mejoras en la supervivencia infantil, el control de la malaria y el acceso a tratamientos para el&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.muyinteresante.es\/salud\/1248.html\">VIH<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-secondary-color has-text-color\">La supervivencia para mujeres y hombres muestra tendencias similares.&nbsp;Las mujeres en Jap\u00f3n y los hombres de Suiza viven m\u00e1s tiempo de media: aproximadamente 87 a\u00f1os y 81 a\u00f1os, respectivamente. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-secondary-color has-text-color\">Mientras tanto, aquellos que viven en Sierra Leona -de ambos sexos- tienen la esperanza de vida m\u00e1s baja del mundo: alrededor de 51 a\u00f1os para las mujeres y 49 a\u00f1os para los hombres.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-secondary-color has-text-color\">Muchas personas piensan que la esperanza de vida est\u00e1 determinada en gran medida por la gen\u00e9tica.
