La Alulosa es uno de los muchos az\u00facares diferentes que existen en la naturaleza. Inicialmente se identific\u00f3 en el trigo y desde entonces se ha encontrado en algunas frutas como por ejemplo los higos y las pasas.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-secondary-color has-text-color\">La alulosa (tambi\u00e9n llamada \u00abD-psicosa\u00bb) es una forma rara de az\u00facar que se encuentra en los higos, las pasas y la j\u00edfruta.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-secondary-color has-text-color\">La alulosa es t\u00e9cnicamente un az\u00facar, pero no se comporta como un carbohidrato normal. No metaboliza en tu cuerpo, por eso es tan bajo en calor\u00edas. Alrededor del 90% de la alulosa que consumes se absorbe en el intestino delgado y se excreta por la orina. Esto explica por qu\u00e9 la alulosa no eleva los niveles de az\u00facar en la sangre.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-secondary-color has-text-color\">Su sabor es parecido al del az\u00facar, no deja retrogusto amargo y se complementa muy bien con otros endulzantes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-secondary-color has-text-color\">A diferencia de otros monosac\u00e1ridos, la alulosa se metaboliza en muy bajas proporciones y&nbsp;se excreta en su mayor\u00eda&nbsp;por orina. Por lo tanto,&nbsp;no eleva los niveles de az\u00facar en sangre&nbsp;y resulta prometedora para reducir la utilizaci\u00f3n de&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.vitonica.com\/alimentos\/la-miel-tambien-es-un-azucar-y-por-eso-deberias-evitarla-en-tu-dieta\">az\u00facares libres<\/a>&nbsp;en nuestros platos.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-secondary-color has-text-color\">Estudios demostraron&nbsp;que tiene un efecto positivo a nivel metab\u00f3lico que podr\u00eda resultar clave para&nbsp;reducir el riesgo de diabetes tipo 2&nbsp;as\u00ed como de dislipemias, aterosclerosis y obesidad, pues&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.sciencedirect.com\/science\/article\/abs\/pii\/S0899900717301181\">estimular\u00eda la oxidaci\u00f3n de grasas<\/a>&nbsp;en organismos sanos.
