Es un problema que suele darse con m\u00e1s frecuencia en mujeres que en hombres.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-secondary-color has-text-color\">La retenci\u00f3n de l\u00edquidos se debe sobre todo a la presencia de sodio en los alimentos, si bien hay otras causas que nos pueden hacer propensos a ella, como desarreglos hormonales, problemas circulatorios o renales.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-secondary-color has-text-color\"><a href=\"https:\/\/fundaciondelcorazon.com\/corazon-facil\/blog-impulso-vital\/2649-soluciona-la-retencion-de-liquidos.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Seg\u00fan la Fundaci\u00f3n Espa\u00f1ola del Coraz\u00f3n<\/a>, \u201cel edema, conocido popularmente como retenci\u00f3n de l\u00edquidos, es un aumento en el volumen del l\u00edquido intersticial, es decir, una acumulaci\u00f3n excesiva de l\u00edquidos en los tejidos. Sus causas son variadas, entre ellas,&nbsp;<strong>problemas circulatorios, insuficiencia cardiaca congestiva, enfermedades renales o hep\u00e1ticas<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-secondary-color has-text-color\">Para<strong>&nbsp;evitar la retenci\u00f3n de l\u00edquidos,<\/strong>&nbsp;hay que seguir una dieta baja en sodio, consumiendo ciertos alimentos que&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/mibebeyyo.elmundo.es\/mujer-actual\/alimentacion-mujeres\/alimentos-perder-liquidos-adelgazar\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">permitan perder los l\u00edquidos acumulados<\/a> y eliminando los alimentos prohibidos para la retenci\u00f3n de l\u00edquidos, en especial, los que son altos en sodio.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-secondary-color has-text-color\">Potencia el consumo de alimentos ricos en potasio ya que este mineral regula los niveles de agua en el organismo, recuerde que tambi\u00e9n el potasio alimentos prohibidos ( tomate, uvas, frutos secos, pl\u00e1tano y c\u00edtricos).
