La poblaci\u00f3n mundial crece a un paso acelerado: de los actuales 7.675 millones de personas se pasar\u00e1 a 9.100 millones en 2050,<a href=\"http:\/\/www.fao.org\/3\/a-i1688s.pdf\">&nbsp;seg\u00fan datos de la FAO.<\/a>&nbsp;Sin duda, el avance del progreso econ\u00f3mico en los pa\u00edses emergentes est\u00e1 incrementando considerablemente la demanda mundial de&nbsp;alimentos&nbsp;y de dietas diversificadas. Est\u00e1 previsto que la producci\u00f3n alimentaria aumente en un 70 % en el mundo y un 100 % en los pa\u00edses en desarrollo.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-secondary-color has-text-color\">Seg\u00fan la <strong>OMS<\/strong>, los principios b\u00e1sicos de la <strong>alimentaci\u00f3n saludable<\/strong> se basan en:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"has-secondary-color has-text-color wp-block-list\"><li>Una lactancia materna adecuada.<\/li><li>Ejercicio f\u00edsico a lo largo de toda la vida.<\/li><li>Una ingesta cal\u00f3rica proporcional al gasto cal\u00f3rico.<\/li><li>Un aumento del consumo de frutas y verduras de temporada, frescas y cocinadas, legumbres, cereales integrales y frutos secos.<\/li><li>Reducci\u00f3n de la ingesta cal\u00f3rica procedente de las grasas, cambiando las grasas saturadas por las insaturadas y eliminando los \u00e1cidos grasos trans, sobre todo las grasas trans producidas industrialmente.<\/li><li>Reducci\u00f3n de la ingesta de az\u00facares libres.<\/li><li>Reducci\u00f3n del consumo de sal.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-secondary-color has-text-color\">La <strong>alimentaci\u00f3n sostenible<\/strong>&nbsp;es aquella que:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"has-secondary-color has-text-color wp-block-list\"><li>Utiliza eficientemente los recursos y reduce el impacto ambiental a lo largo de la cadena alimenticia o tr\u00f3fica.<\/li><li>Contribuye a reducir las emisiones de los gases que provocan el efecto invernadero (GEI) causantes de la crisis clim\u00e1tica<\/li><li>Optimiza la utilizaci\u00f3n de agua, energ\u00eda, agroqu\u00edmicos de s\u00edntesis, etc.<\/li><li>Evita la degradaci\u00f3n de los recursos h\u00eddricos y su sobreexplotaci\u00f3n (como la contaminaci\u00f3n por nitratos o el agotamiento de los acu\u00edferos).<\/li><li>Favorece la conservaci\u00f3n de los ecosistemas terrestres y acu\u00e1ticos, la biodiversidad y el suelo f\u00e9rtil, de los que dependemos totalmente para vivir en nuestro planeta.<\/li><li>Reduce la generaci\u00f3n de residuos y desperdicios.<\/li><li>Contribuye a la soberan\u00eda alimentaria y nutricional de las generaciones presentes y futuras.<\/li><li>Apoya la econom\u00eda local, la seguridad alimentaria y el acceso a la alimentaci\u00f3n a los m\u00e1s vulnerables.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-secondary-color has-text-color\">Por lo tanto, apostar por una alimentaci\u00f3n saludable y sostenible es invertir en salud.
