Pero quiz\u00e1s entender que relajarse tambi\u00e9n nos hace much\u00edsimo m\u00e1s productivos puede cambiar nuestros h\u00e1bitos. Hay muchas teor\u00edas sobre el estr\u00e9s en el contexto laboral. Pero creo que el modelo de Yerkes-Dodson ejemplifica claramente la relaci\u00f3n del estr\u00e9s y el rendimiento laboral que quiero destacar. Les explico de manera sencilla y corta, c\u00f3mo ese tiempo fuera tiene efectos en nuestro cerebro.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-secondary-color has-text-color\"><strong>Modelo de Yerkes-Dodson.<\/strong>&nbsp;Esta teor\u00eda afirma que el buen rendimiento (es decir, cuando la persona est\u00e1 concentrada, motivada y comprometida con sus tarea del momento) se caracteriza por ciertos niveles &#8222;\u00f3ptimos&#8220; de excitaci\u00f3n fisiol\u00f3gica. Los estudios han demostrado que en este estado de productividad y creatividad, s\u00f3lo se activan en nuestro cerebro las \u00e1reas cerebrales relevantes para hacer la tarea. Por el contrario, en los estados de hiperactivaci\u00f3n (es decir, el estr\u00e9s agudo y el agotamiento) se observa una activaci\u00f3n pronunciada en las \u00e1reas emocionales del cerebro (que son irrelevantes para completar la tarea). A su vez, cuando alguien est\u00e1 distra\u00eddo, sin compromiso y aburrido, se observaba la activaci\u00f3n en muchas \u00e1reas cerebrales (no importantes para realizar el trabajo).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-secondary-color has-text-color\"><strong>\u00bfQu\u00e9 nos dice esto sobre nuestro cerebro y el rendimiento laboral?<\/strong> Esto subraya la importancia de regular y recuperar el cuerpo del estr\u00e9s en contextos laborales y el gran papel que juegan las emociones.
