En el proceso de termorregulaci\u00f3n, el tejido adiposo marr\u00f3n es esencial para la termog\u00e9nesis sin temblor, como tambi\u00e9n para la aclimataci\u00f3n. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-secondary-color has-text-color\">La funci\u00f3n principal de este tejido es convertir la energ\u00eda de los alimentos en calor, por tanto, cuando se activa porque el organismo necesita calor, se consumen grandes cantidades de l\u00edpidos y glucosa.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-secondary-color has-text-color\">El ritmo de la termog\u00e9nesis se controla por la adrenalina liberada por los nervios simp\u00e1ticos. El desarrollo de su caracter\u00edstica prote\u00edna-1 desacopladora mitocondrial (UCP1) fue determinante en el proceso evolutivo de los mam\u00edferos, ya que su funci\u00f3n termog\u00e9nica se relaciona con la supervivencia de reci\u00e9n nacidos y permite la vida activa en ambientes fr\u00edos. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-secondary-color has-text-color\">El tejido adiposo marr\u00f3n juega un papel cr\u00edtico en el balance energ\u00e9tico, aunque su importancia depende de numerosos factores tales como especie, edad y tama\u00f1o del organismo.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"has-text-align-center has-secondary-color has-text-color wp-block-heading\"><strong>\u00bfC\u00f3mo ocurre este proceso y por qu\u00e9 es bueno para quemar grasas?<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-secondary-color has-text-color\">Los triglic\u00e9ridos son un tipo de grasa que se encuentra en varios tejidos, incluso en el torrente sangu\u00edneo. Cuando los \u00e1cidos grasos libres son liberados desde la degradaci\u00f3n de triglic\u00e9ridos durante la lip\u00f3lisis, activan la se\u00f1al de una prote\u00edna encontrada en el tejido adiposo pardo conocida como termogenina o prote\u00edna desacoplante 1 (UCP-1, del ingl\u00e9s Uncoupling protein-1) la cual se encarga de impedir la producci\u00f3n de ATP, la principal fuente de energ\u00eda corporal, y disipar toda su energ\u00eda qu\u00edmica en forma de calor. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-secondary-color has-text-color\">De hecho, varias mol\u00e9culas org\u00e1nicas y extractos naturales han mostrado incrementar significativamente la termog\u00e9nesis, bien sea a trav\u00e9s de la activaci\u00f3n de UCP-1 o por otros mecanismos que involucran la estimulaci\u00f3n de los procesos de oxidaci\u00f3n de grasas.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-secondary-color has-text-color\">El gasto energ\u00e9tico total se puede dividir en diferentes&nbsp;<strong>procesos termog\u00e9nicos<\/strong>: termog\u00e9nesis obligatoria o metabolismo basal, termog\u00e9nesis inducida por los alimentos, termog\u00e9nesis inducida por ejercicio f\u00edsico y termog\u00e9nesis adaptativa.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-secondary-color has-text-color\"><strong>Los adipocitos blancos<\/strong>, caracter\u00edsticos por el color blanqu\u00edsimo que le brindan a su tejido adiposo blanco,&nbsp;<strong>son los encargados de liberar hormonas de gran importancia metab\u00f3lica como lo es la leptina<\/strong>. Este tejido adiposo es el m\u00e1s abundante en nuestro cuerpo, y se aloja generalmente en la zona del abdomen.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-secondary-color has-text-color\">Hay que destacar que&nbsp;<strong>un aporte cal\u00f3rico positivo y el sedentarismo beneficiaran a la acumulaci\u00f3n excesiva<\/strong>&nbsp;de dichos adipocitos, lo cual no es nada saludable. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-secondary-color has-text-color\">Por otro lado,&nbsp;<strong>los adipocitos marrones<\/strong>&nbsp;se caracterizan por presentar un gran n\u00famero de mitocondrias y&nbsp;<strong>cumplen una funci\u00f3n termog\u00e9nica<\/strong>, es decir que son grandes productores de calor.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-secondary-color has-text-color\">Se ha documentado que el ejercicio f\u00edsico periodizado y una alimentaci\u00f3n saludable rica en prote\u00ednas podr\u00eda contribuir a la&nbsp;<strong>conversi\u00f3n de adipocitos blancos a beige<\/strong>. Lo cual, les brindar\u00eda una funci\u00f3n muy similar a la de los adipocitos marrones. Dicha acci\u00f3n estar\u00eda regulada por centros en el hipot\u00e1lamo como veremos m\u00e1s adelante.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-secondary-color has-text-color\"><strong>La disminuci\u00f3n del peso debe ser progresiva,&nbsp;<\/strong>basada en una serie de cambios dirigidos a disminuir el tejido adiposo y&nbsp;<strong>preservar el muscular<\/strong>. La recuperaci\u00f3n del peso de forma r\u00e1pida es una consecuencia de la disminuci\u00f3n del metabolismo corporal. Si el descenso de peso se hace con dietas restrictivas se aumenta la grelina, lo cual estimulara a\u00fan m\u00e1s el apetito.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-secondary-color has-text-color\"><strong>La termog\u00e9nesis se alcanza con varios m\u00e9todos:&nbsp;<\/strong>suplementos, ejercicio, nutrici\u00f3n o, aunque suene contradictorio, fr\u00edo<strong>. <\/strong>En el caso de la nutrici\u00f3n, se recomienda el consumo de alimentos termogenicos, como: &nbsp;Caf\u00e9, guaran\u00e1, t\u00e9 verde, pimienta cayena, cacao, jengibre, yerba mate, aceite de coco, curry, canela entre otros.
